همایش دستاوردهای نوین فیزیک بنیادی از نگاه فلسفی برگزار می شود

رویداد دستاوردهای نوین در فیزیک بنیادی از نگاهی فلسفی ۲۸ و ۲۹ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۲ به صورت مجازی برگزار می شود.

به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، گروه فلسفه‌ علم دانشگاه صنعتی شریف همایش مجازی و بین‌المللی “Frontiers in Foundations of Physics: A Philosophical Inquiry” را برگزار می‌کند.

این همایش که در تاریخ ۲۸ و ۲۹ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۲ برگزار می شود، آنتونی لگت (برنده‌ی جایزه‌ی نوبل فیزیک) تیم مادلین، لی اسمولین و... سخنرانی می کنند.

فراخوان جذب هیات علمی وزارت علوم به تعویق افتاد

رئیس مرکز جذب وزارت علوم گفت: فراخوان اردیبهشت ماه جذب هیأت علمی دانشگاه‌ها در ۱۴۰۲ با کمی تاخیر و در خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲ برگزار خواهد شد.

محمد خلج امیرحسینی در گفتگو با خبرنگار مهر درباره زمان ثبت نام فراخوان جذب اعضای هیأت علمی وزارت علوم در اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۲ گفت: فراخوان اردیبهشت ماه با کمی تأخیر، خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲ برگزار خواهد شد.

وی درباره اینکه آیا فرایندهای جذب مربوط به فراخوان‌های سال گذشته انجام شده است یا خیر افزود: فرایندهای جذب مربوط به سال ۱۴۰۰ تا اندازه‌ای انجام شده است، ولی در مورد فرایندهای جذب مربوط به سال ۱۴۰۱ متأسفانه هنوز پرونده‌های قابل توجهی از دانشگاه‌ها به مرکز جذب ارسال نشده است.

رئیس مرکز جذب وزارت علوم درباره علت موضوع مذکور گفت: این موضوع را باید از دانشگاه‌ها پرسید مرکز جذب وزارت علوم حتی جدول زمانی را ارائه داده و این امکان نیز فراهم شده است تا دانشگاه‌ها استعلامات را به بعد از هیأت اجرایی موکول کنند، انتظار ما این است که دانشگاه‌ها تلاش بیشتری کرده و برنامه ریزی فشرده‌تری داشته باشند تا کار را به نتیجه برسانند.

رئیس مرکز جذب وزارت علوم پیش از این عنوان کرده بود: طبق بررسی‌هایی که ما انجام دادیم، مشخص شد یک گلوگاه اصلی در بحث سرعت در دانشگاه‌ها، این است که دانشگاه‌ها منتظر استعلام و تحقیق می‌شوند.

وی ادامه داد: برای همین ما در مرکز جذب وزارت علوم جدولی را طراحی کرده و به این نتیجه رسیدیم که استعلام‌ها را به سمت مرکز جذب سوق دهیم و وظیفه اصلی و پایش بحث استعلام‌ها در مرکز جذب صورت گیرد.

خلج امیرحسینی گفت: از این طریق دانشگاه‌ها از این بحث آزاد شده و با فراغ بال از روز اول که فراخوان انجام می‌شود به غربالگری، توانمندی علمی و صلاحیت عمومی پرداخته و سپس هیأت اجرایی جواب را برای مرکز جذب ارسال می‌کند. در مرحله بعد بحث‌های نظارت، استعلام و تحقیقات انجام می‌شود و کار دانشگاه‌ها سرعت می‌گیرد، بنابراین تلاش ما این است که این قسمت را فعال‌تر کنیم تا زودتر جواب بگیریم.

وی ادامه داد: بدین وسیله هر ماندگاری که در دانشگاه‌ها صورت گیرد مربوط به تدابیر خود دانشگاه‌ها بوده و به خارج از دانشگاه مرتبط نخواهد بود.

امیرحسینی گفت: ما نیز از دانشگاه‌ها درخواست کرده‌ایم طوری برنامه ریزی کنند که طبق جدولی که به آنها ارائه شده، فراخوان‌های سال ۱۴۰۰ و اردیبهشت سال ۱۴۰۱ را تا آخر تابستان سال آینده جمع بندی و نهایی کنند.

This conference invites scholars, creatives, writers, graduate students, and other enthusiasts of history and/or mystery writing to explore and discuss special topics in history and the role of history in writing mystery fiction and non-fiction.

Call for Papers

Countless historical enigmas remain unsolved to this day and inspire so much mystery writing - think of the Turin Shroud, the Stonehenge megaliths, the pyramids and pharaohs of Egypt, Atlantis, the Bermuda Triangle and others. Mystery writers hope to discover or unlock these long-buried historical secrets while researching their novels. With themes ranging from Egyptology, medieval alchemy, lost paintings, wars, scientific discoveries and any other significant moments from the distant past, many popular mysteries have taken the literary world by storm and ignited an interest in history.

There is an intimate relationship between history and mystery writing.

The London Centre for Arts-Based Research is now accepting proposals for papers and panels for its first "Mysteries and Histories" conference, to take place at The Court House Residency in Martock, Somerset, a marvelous location which in itself is rich with history and mysteries!

We welcome 15-minute presentations (academic and/or creative) that reflect this theme.

The aim of this conference is to bring together scholars, creatives, bookworms, writers, postgraduate students, and other professionals to explore and discuss the relationship between history and mystery writing.

Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

- Research in history
- Mysteries in audiobooks
- Humour in mysteries and historical fiction
- Time travel in mystery writing
- Whodunits in historical settings
- Biographical mysteries
- Paranormal and supernatural elements in histories and mystery fiction
- History/mystery writing for the screen and theatre
- "Truth" in historical non-fiction
- Famous "mystery" historical figures and their adaptation in contemporary writing
- Special themes in historical mysteries
- The writing process (of mystery writing, historical fiction, and historical nonfiction)
- Research and data collection for creative writers (forensics, police, psychology etc.)
- Psychological thrillers
- Pop mysteries
- Literary classics in mystery and detective fiction
- Representations of detectives and other significant characters in mystery writing
- Film adaptations of both mystery and historical fiction
- The cozy murder mystery (and other subgenres of detective fiction)
- The mind in writer and/or reader mode (for historical mysteries)
- Latest trends in detective fiction/historical fiction
- Art and history in mystery writing

The United Nations Human Rights and Habitat programmes connect how we live, to where we live. The association is premised on an understanding of cultures, communities and society through the lens of place. It sees them as inherently interlinked, and mutually reinforcing. Examining this liminal state, the Local Cultures - Global Spaces conference questions this idea as it appears at the intersection of cultural studies, sociology, human geography, architecture and urban planning.

It responds to debates around community networks and cultural traditions as independent of location. It addresses readings of the built environment as an isolated phenomena - as a series of constructed objects in, of, and for, themselves. Conversely, it acknowledges that how we live can be seen as inseparable from our built environments - our buildings, villages, towns and cities. In such readings, place may be defined as deterministic - as a central player influencing actions, and even identity. Positioning itself somewhere between these positions, Local Cultures - Global Spaces explores readings of societies and place as hybrid - as byproducts of the conflicting social, cultural and economic forces shaping our lives in multiple spheres.

If we take the city as a case in point, it can be critiqued as a site of displacement, economic inequity, gender marginalization and social exclusion. Viewed through such lenses, architecture, urban design and development policy simply ingrain the status quo. By contrast, for those celebrating cultural consumption, the city is a site for exchange - of ideas, experiences, identities, money, and more. Within this mix, the design the cities is central to the riches of globalization. It is where we find the Creative Class of Richard Florida, and where we enjoy the fruits of human production: cultural buildings, public spaces and the IT networks of the 'smart city.'

In addressing questions of social and built environment theory and practice, then, this conference is interested in a diversity of ideas. From the social sciences, themes of interest may include cultural geographies, late Capitalism spatially manifest, and critiques of community and social justice, a la Lefevre and Harvey. In terms of architectural and urban design, the conference sees these concerns as reflected in participatory approaches to housing, examinations of queer space, Critical Regionalism, placemaking, and questions of race and planning, to name but a few.
