Dear Delegate,

Proposals for paper presentations, workshops, posters or colloquia are invited for the Fifteenth International Conference on Knowledge, Culture, and Change in Organizations being held at the University of California at Berkeley in Berkeley, USA from 19-20 February 2015. We welcome proposals from a variety of disciplines and perspectives that will contribute to the conference discourse. We also encourage faculty and research students to submit joint proposals for paper presentations or colloquia.

Proposals are invited that address issues of management and the organization through one of the following categories:

Theme 1: Management Education
Theme 2: Change Management
Theme 3: Knowledge Management
Theme 4: Organizational Cultures
Theme 5: Productive Diversity: The Dynamics of Organizational Cultures

In addition to the annual themes, the conference will address the special focus âАУ Productive Diversity: The Dynamics of Organizational Cultures âАУ through keynote speakers, garden sessions, workshops, and parallel sessions that examine the following topic:

PRODUCTIVE DIVERSITY: THE DYNAMICS OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURES
Diversity manifests itself in organizations in a myriad of ways - the diversity of human resources within an organization, diversity among clienteles, and diversity of divisional or occupational cultures, and diversity when meeting other organizational cultures - be they private, public or other community organizations. In the twentieth century, the prevailing assumption was that organizational cultures based on sameness or alignment would inevitably work best. In the twenty-first century, globalization and civil rights movements that focus on human differences mean that such assumptions are no longer tenable. In fact, they may well be counter-productive, hence the notion of "productive diversity".

Presenters may also choose to submit written papers for publication in the fully refereed The Organization Collection of journals. If you are unable to attend the conference, you may still become a member of the community and submit your article for peer review and possible publication, upload an online presentation, and enjoy subscriber access to the journal collection.

Proposals for in-person presentations should be submitted by 19 DECEMBER 2014 (title and short abstract).

Proposals submitted after this day will be accommodated in non-themed sessions at the conference or are eligible for community membership registrations (no attendance at conference required with community membership presentations).

About IAFOR'S Education Conferences

IAFOR promotes and facilitates new multifaceted approaches to one of the core issues of our time, namely globalization and its many forms of growth and expansion. Awareness of how it cuts across the world of education, and its subsequent impact on societies, institutions and individuals, is a driving force in educational policies and practices across the globe. IAFOR's Conferences on Education have these issues at their core. The conferences present those taking part with three unique dimensions of experience, encouraging interdisciplinary discussion, facilitating heightened intercultural awareness and they promoting international exchange. In short, IAFOR's Conferences on Education are about change and transformation. As IAFOR's previous education conferences have shown, education has the power to transform and change whilst it is also continuously transformed and changed. The theme of transforming and changing education continues into 2015 in the European, North American and Asian Conferences on Education.

Globalized education systems are becoming increasing socially, ethnically and culturally diverse. However, education is often defined through discourses embedded in Western paradigms as globalised education systems become increasingly determined by dominant knowledge economies. Policies, practices and ideologies of education help define and determine ways in which social justice is perceived and acted out. What counts as 'education' and as 'knowledge' can appear uncontestable but is in fact both contestable and partial. Discourses of learning and teaching regulate and normalise gendered and classed, racialised and ethnicised understandings of what learning is and who counts as a learner.

In many educational settings and contexts throughout the world, there remains an assumption that teachers are the possessors of knowledge which is to be imparted to students, and that this happens in neutral, impartial and objective ways. However, learning is about making meaning, and learners can experience the same teaching in very different ways. Students (as well as teachers) are part of complex social, cultural, political, ideological and personal circumstances, and current experiences of learning will depend in part on previous ones, as well as on age, gender, social class, culture, ethnicity, varying abilities and more.

IAFOR has five annual education conferences, exploring common themes in different ways to develop a shared research agenda which develops interdisciplinary discussion, heightens intercultural awareness and promotes international exchange.

Sue Jackson is Pro-Vice-Master (Vice-President) for Learning and Teaching, Professor of Lifelong Learning and Gender and Director of Birkbeck Institute for Lifelong Learning at Birkbeck University of London. She publishes widely in the field of gender and lifelong learning, with a particular focus on identities.

Sue's recent publications include Innovations in Lifelong Learning: Critical Perspectives on Diversity, Participation and Vocational Learning (Routledge, 2011); Gendered Choices: Learning, Work, Identities in Lifelong Learning (Springer, 2011, with Irene Malcolm and Kate Thomas); and Lifelong Learning and Social Justice (NIACE, 2011).

Sue is also the Director of the IAFOR Education Research Institute.

IAFOR International Advisory Board Chair

Stuart D. B. Picken is the founding chairman of the IAFOR International Advisory Board. The author of a dozen books and over 130 articles and papers, he is considered one of the foremost scholars on Japan, China, and Globalization in East Asia. As an academic, Professor Picken has devoted more than 30 years to scholarship in Japan, notably as a professor at the International Christian University in Tokyo, where he specialized in ethics and Japanese thought, and as International Adviser to the High Priest of Tsubaki Grand Shrine (Mie prefecture). He has also served as a consultant to various businesses, including Jun Ashida Ltd., Mitsui Mining and Smelting Corp., Kobe Steel, and Japan Air Lines.

INTCESS15 Abstracts and Proceedings will also be included in Google Scholar and sent to be reviewed for their inclusion in the ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index.

اعلام زمان ثبت نام پذیرفته شدگان دکتری در 15 دانشگاه (93/6/4)

اعلام زمان ثبت نام پذیرفته شدگان دکتری در 15 دانشگاه

زمان ثبت نام پذیرفته شدگان دوره دکتری تخصصی در سال تحصیلی 94- 93 در 15 دانشگاه اعلام شده است. زمان ثبت نام در این دانشگاه ها از اول تا 24 شهریور است و کلاس های درس هم از 22 تا 29 شهریور آغاز می شود.

به گزارش خبرنگار مهر اسامی، پذيرفته شدگان نهايي آزمون ورودي دوره دكتري «Ph.D» (نيمه متمركز) سال 1393،  يكشنبه 26 مردادماه از طريق ‌سايت سازمان سنجش اعلام شد و تعداد 11 هزار و 496 نفر پذیرفته شدند.

سازمان سنجش آموزش کشور زمان ثبت نام از پذیرفته شدگان آزمون دکتری سراسری 93 را اول تا سوم شهریورماه اعلام کرد و یادآورشد: احتمال دارد برخی دانشگاه‌ها تقویم ثبت‌نام آن‌ها با آنچه سازمان سنجش اعلام کرده است متفاوت باشد، لذا ضرورت دارد افراد پذیرفته شده برای مطلع شدن از زمان ثبت نام حتماً به سایت دانشگاه قبول شده مراجعه کنند.

براساس این گزارش، برخی از دانشگاه هایی که در سال تحصیلی 94-93 اقدام به پذیرش دانشجوی دکتری کرده اند زمان ثبت نام پذیرفته شدگان دانشجویان دکتری را بر روی سایت خود قرار داده اند :

براساس این گزارش،  بیشتر دانشگاه ها دو زمان را برای ثبت نام اعلام کرده اند . به این ترتیب دانشجویان یک بار ملزم شده اند وارد سامانه تعیین شده توسط دانشگاه شده و به صورت غیر حضوری ثبت نام الکترونیکی انجام دهند و پس از آن به دانشجویان صورت حضوری مراجعه کرده و مدارک لازم را ارایه داده تا ثبت نام کنند.

دانشگاه های مجری دوره دکتری تاکید کرده اند عدم مراجعه در روز تعیین شده، به منزله انصراف قطعی از ادامه تحصیل تلقی خواهد شد. بنابراین به دانشجویان توصیه کرده اند در زمان اعلام شده در دانشگاه حاضر شوند.

برخی از دانشگاه ها نیز مانند زنجان و بین المللی امام خمینی هنوز اطلاعیه اصلی را برروی سایت قرار نداده و تنها از پذیرفته شدگان درخواست کرده اند براساس زمان اعلام شده از سوی سازمان سنجش به دانشگاه مراجعه نکنند تا دانشگاه زمان ثبت نام از این دانشجویان را اعلام کند. تاریخ شروع کلاس ها نیز به صورت متفاوت از سوی دانشگاه ها  22 تا 29 شهریور اعلام شده است .

تمام دانشجویان شهریه پرداز روزانه و پردیس های خودگردان نیز موظف هستند ابتدا شهریه اعلام شده را پرداخت کرده و سپس برای ثبت نام اقدام کنند.
